The sale of Julie's deceased step-dad's house was more complicated than usual for a number of reasons. We live in Arizona and needed to travel to Arkansas to hold an estate sale, clean out the house and otherwise begin to settle the estate. After that, we returned to our home in Arizona and needed to handle keeping an eye on the house, maintaining it and the sale of the property from afar. To top it all off, the property had a reverse mortgage and the mortgage company immediately proceeded with a foreclosure, harassing us and threatening to auction off the property! Through all this, Billie did such an outstanding of assisting us in every way possible, with a number of tasks going far over and above what a real estate listing agent might be expected to do! This included: -Recommending local attorneys to handle the estate, - Helping us to spread the word on the estate sale, -Checking on the house to make sure that everything was OK, -Being available on a moment's notice when we had questions, issues or concerns, -Keeping us posted on showings and their results, -Helping us find a handyman to do repairs, -Advising us on adjusting the listing price as time went by, -Finding a new mailbox and someone to replace it after it was damaged 3 times (!), and -Coordinating with us and the title company so that we could close without leaving our home in Arizona. My dad was moving to assisted living in Texas and didn't require many items to take with him. After weeks of sorting and having the dumpster emptied numerous times, we had to leave to get my dad relocated and left a tremendous amount in the house. Again, Billie encouraged us to go and she handled the rest, put the house on the market and it sold in two days! Billie was an angel sent at the right time for a difficult transition for my dad and my brother and I are forever grateful for her and her help! She truly looks after her clients' needs and well being and made this a very positive experience for all of us!
